  Welcome
Your World On Fire is a project based around the NIN|JA Tour show played on May 27th, 2009 in Kansas City. As a community-based project, we seek the aide of other fans for footage, audio, photos, and more so please chip in if you can!

Unlike some other mutlicam projects from this tour, we aim to work on the ENTIRE SHOW-featuring Street Sweeper Social Club (featuring Boots Riley and Tom "I Can Play Guitar With My Teeth" Morello), and of course Nine Inch Nails. While other projects may be content to stick with NIN, we're aiming to present you with the pure kick-assness of all three bands!

We also intend to include bonus content featuring multi-cam edits of songs played at other shows.

Our first release has finally happened but it is definitely not the last! Remember to check back often for updates.
  Somewhat Damaged Edit

Now also on YouTube.

This is the initial edit, I'll probably make some revisions based on feedback.

If you want to know the "epic story" behind all the trouble I had getting this video up and looking right, check out the extended news.

  Project Status Update
NewsYou may have read our Tweet regarding the status of our project-but I'd like to elaborate a bit in a more "official" news post.

The Jane's Addiction and Street Sweeper Social Club performance videos are at least on hold indefinitely-we have failed to secure enough footage from these bands to make any kind of substantial multi-cam edit. There is a very small chance that this will change, but our primary editor is also busy starting up his own design business and that will be taking up much of his time for quite awhile.

As for bonus material-it may well be Youtube-exclusive (although a torrent of the video files might also be possible) with the physical release focused on the disc featuring the main Nine Inch Nails performance. Speaking of the release-our editor estimates the cost would be $4 each for digipaks and $2.50 for standard for orders of a hundred or more. We might get in touch with Thisoneisonus to figure out how we might set up some kind of system for potentially taking orders. I'll have to contact our editor about some further information as well.

While we are sorry that our project will not likely be extending to the other performances as we had planned, we are quite proud of what we have been able to do with the Nine Inch Nails performance in spite of only have access to a relatively limited amount of footage. We thank all of you for your support and hope that it will continue through the process of physical distribution.

On a side-note, we have disabled our Twitter feed due to technical difficulties which have compromised the layout of our site. We will attempt to remedy this, perhaps featuring an enhanced feed box in its place.

  Polls & Forums
NetworkYou may have noticed a poll on the right-hand side of this website asking what your favorite song was from the first half of the Nine Inch Nails set. If you haven't registered for this site you probably couldn't see it but trust me it was there. :p

There are three main problems with PHP Fusion's poll system:

#1-It's only open to members of the site.
#2-It's limited to a maximum of ten choices.
#3-Allowing multiple answers is not an option.

phpBB has a very flexible polling system right out of the box. There is a default limit of 10 options but that can be changed through the admin panel (although the option is slightly tricky to find). You can also allow for more than one answer- which was very useful for our bonus feature song poll (which we may do again because we lost the original results when deejaygamer.com apparently got hacked). Right now though we're only asking the question we were trying to ask on our site already-What was your favorite performance from Nine Inch Nails' set?

You can access the poll forum (which only has this one question so far) here.

I've also set up a general discussion forum for the project here. It requires you to be a registered user of deejaygamer.com (if you're registered on this site, your login won't work there-sorry) to post. I have no idea how much use it'll get if any but I figured it wouldn't do much harm and it'd get more use out of the custom style/theme I'd created for the YWOF section of the deejaygamer.com forums.

As for the current status of the project-our editor is having lots of stuff going on right now in his "real life" but the edits for Street Sweeper Social Club and Jane's Addiction aren't off his to-do list so we'll still be seeing that from him sometime in the future.

We're still looking for more footage from those parts of the show as well as the NIN part of the show so be sure to contact us if you have any. We're also about to get to work on some of our extra feature bonus songs as well. We plan on posting those videos to YouTube as soon as each is completed so you won't have to wait for the "official release" to see them. The hardest part will be gathering permissions from the various YouTube users who posted footage of the various performances-although I suppose the cataloging process is slightly more tedious actually. lol
